    Inaport data synchronising to remote site

    Hi,

    Our inaport process in running fine and data is being imported into GoldMine without problems, however, this data needs to be synchronised with GoldMine in our remote site and, according to Frontrange, third-party products such as Inaport do not create TLogs and therefore it will not synchronise to our remote site.

     Is there a way around this?

    Hi Steve

    FrontRange is incorrect.

    Inaport uses the GoldMine API to write to GoldMine, TLOGs are created, and data does sync out to remotes.

    Hi,

     

    FR did come back and say Inaport in particular should create TLogs and therefore sync, however, this does not appear to be happening.

     Is there something I can check to make sure this is happening?

    Hi Steve

    Something is seriously wrong if tlogs are not being generated.

    Are you using a GoldMine connector in Inaport i.e. when you went to connector manager and created a conector to the GM database, did you choose GoldMine from the list of connector types?

    Hi,

    Yes the connector is set-up correctly. It was set-up by yourselfs last October. I have sent you a PM regarding company details in the hope you will re-call our set-up here.

    I am checking SyncSpy on the remote GoldMine and some of the fields that should be synchronising with our main server are missing. The one's that are there have a date/time stamp of last year so I suspect these fields have never synchronised since our upgrade from GoldMine 5.7 to 7.5.

    For anybody else following this thread, this was the resolution:

    We have now resolved the issue with Frontrange. We set the cut-off date back and to create a new transfer set and that has rectified the issue.For some reason the records were missed during a sync back in early August.
