    Invalid username or password for GoldMine logon

    We are experiencing a problem where Inaport cannot always connect to the source/target connector. When connecting to GoldMine target or source connector, Inaport will sometimes fail, with the error message "Invalid username or password for GoldMine logon". This will happen most of the time. Closing Inaport and reopening will sometimes fix this for a short time.

    The GoldMine username and password are correct, as the profiles using these connectors have been working for some time. There are 2 connectors giving this problem, one connecting to a GoldMine testbed, and the other to the live goldmine database.

    We are using Inaport 6.0 build 7280 released on 1 Oct 07. The verion of GoldMine is 8.02.80208.

    One fix that worked for around an hour before throwing this error message was cloning the user profile in goldmine which inaport uses to log on, and changing inaport to use the new profile. This did work briefly, but does not work anymore.

     I have also tried deleting and rebuilding the connector. This did not work, and threw the same error. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.

    First step would be to upgrade to Inaport V7 from the web site.
