    Inaport 7 to GM7.5 - CPU %

    I am migrating our Goldmine  v6.7 to GM v7.5

    As I am testing the Inaport process, I use a .bat file to execute the Inaport with the IPP file.  The issue I am having is that one update process runs for 20 minutes and takes the server CPU to 100% for the entire time.  Is there a fix for this issue or is this the expected result?

    I notice that this is pretty much the same result in Inaport v 6.0.

    Hi

    It is not unusual for Inaport to grab every CPU cycle it can when running. Depending on your job, there may be quite a bit of data to move around.

    That said, there may be some optimizations you can perform. In particular, you might want to have a look at SQL matching instead of standard matching. Have a look at the tutorials on the main web site.

    You might also want to make sure you are on a current build. There has been a lot of work over the last year in performance enhancement.
