    Hi David,

    I was wondering if it is possible to transform data from for example one Excel file to another by use of Inaport, before importing the transformed Excel file into the SageCRM database? As far as I can see now, one connector has to be the SageCRM database... For our conversion we want to split the transformation step from the import step.

    Hi Maarten

    As you have noticed, the licensing requires that the CRM system be either the source or the target.

    I suggest you import the Excel spreadsheet into an intermediate table in the CRM database, doing your first set of transformations on it.

    Then (using a SQL Server connector, not the CRM connector) read that intermediate tale and complete the process of importing the data.
